Things to know
Once you have filled in the form, you will be contacted by our Orientation Desk who will provide you with all kinds of information about your CV.
The location where you will have the interview is not binding for the choice of the campus. The application fee is € 30, you can pay it before the deadline and it will be deducted from the first installment in case of matriculation.
Part of the interview will be held in English according to SSML Carlo Bo’s curricula.
If you choose French, German or Spanish as your second language, we will assess your skills during the interview. Chinese, Russian, and Arabic, on the other hand, do not involve a preliminary assessment test.
During the year, the institutional dates on which you can book for the Admission Test will be periodically published in this section.
SSML Carlo Bo offers you maximum flexibility: if the institutional dates do not meet your needs, you can contact our Didactic Secretariats to arrange an interview on a personalised date, according to your availability.
Info about the Admission Test
The entry assessment interview will take place in-person at the SSML Carlo Bo location you chose and consists of an oral test aimed to establish your foreign language level:
- English language (compulsory);
- a second language chosen by the student from French, Spanish or German; Chinese, Russian, and Arabic languages, on the other hand, do not require a preliminary assessment test: if the student passes the oral test, he or she can directly choose one of them as a second language.
The meeting also includes a personalised orientation interview with our contact persons, to best guide and support you on your matriculation path; for international students, a short test in Italian is also planned.
Language Test
During the test, the candidate’s grammatical knowledge as well as his or her lexical competence and comprehension ability will be assessed.
The test may involve listening to a short audio and a series of questions aimed to assess language comprehension skills.
Based on the test result and in case of minor language gaps, each location may arrange for supplementary teaching classes aimed to fill the gaps shown in both English and the second language of choice.
An Italian language proficiency test is scheduled for foreign students to assess their entry level.
Graduates in Foreign Languages and Literature or equivalent degrees are exempt from the entry assessment interview.
